1. Hotel Terms & Conditions
By booking with Limehouse Library Hotel, you agree to the following:
• A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.
• Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Prepaid bookings are non-refundable.
• Flexible bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of arrival. Once within the last 48 hours, a non-refundable policy applies.
• A £100 pre-authorisation is taken upon check-in and released after check-out.
• The hotel is cashless – only card payments are accepted.
• No parking is provided by the hotel.
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to errors or government guidance, including but not limited to public health measures, travel restrictions, lockdowns, local authority orders, or other emergency regulations. This includes situations arising from pandemics (e.g., COVID-19), severe weather, strikes, or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control that may affect the operation of the hotel or the safety of our guests. In such cases, guests will be offered either an alternative date, a full refund, or another solution at the hotel’s discretion.
• We inform you in the notification message sent immediately after your booking that a £100 pre-authorisation will be taken, and an ID check will be conducted. Therefore, no cancellations or refunds will be granted in case of any objection at check-in. By arriving at the hotel, the guest acknowledges and accepts this information and agrees to these terms.
• In room-only bookings, the room rate may be fixed regardless of the number of guests. However, if a reservation is made for only one person during the booking process, no additional guests may be added later, and only the original guest is permitted to stay in the room. No other person will be allowed to check in or stay in that room.
2. Guest Information
Guests wishing to store bicycles must contact the hotel in advance. Bicycles are not allowed in rooms and can only be stored in designated areas.
As a boutique concept hotel with 75 uniquely designed rooms, we allocate rooms based on category rather than individual room character. Each room features a distinct interior design, reflecting its own unique personality and story. Some rooms have bathtubs, while others have showers, and the bed design in each room is tailored to match its unique character, offering a variety of styles and layouts. This character-based design approach is one of the key features that sets us apart from standard chain hotels, providing our guests with a different narrative and sensory experience in every room.
While we always do our best to consider guests’ requests regarding specific rooms, we cannot guarantee allocation to a particular room or design. Room assignments are subject to availability and operational considerations at the time of check-in.
9. Luggage, Parcel, and Lost & Found Policy
Guests are welcome to leave their luggage at the hotel free of charge on the day of check-in prior to check-in time, and on the day of check-out after vacating their room.
However, overnight storage is not permitted under any circumstances for either pre-check-in or post-check-out. Parcels can be accepted at the hotel only after the guest has checked in and up until their check-out date. The name, number, and weight of any incoming parcels must be pre-approved by hotel management. Unauthorised or excessive deliveries may be declined.
Items found in the hotel are kept in the relevant department for 6 months, after which they are securely disposed of.
10. Minimum Spending and Deposit Requirements for Group Dining Bookings
For the use of the hotel’s food and beverage venues, a minimum spending requirement applies to group bookings of 8 guests or more. Additionally, for reservations of 4 guests or more, a deposit will be required at the time of booking. Group reservations exceeding these numbers are subject to advance booking policies and availability.
11. Spa Bookings, Cancellations & Refund Policy
All spa reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. Please note that no cancellations, amendments, or refunds are permitted within 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Any changes or cancellations made within this 48-hour period will be fully chargeable
