T/A Limehouse Library Hotel (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your

3. Identity Verification at Check-In

All guests, including children, are required to present a government-issued photo ID
at check-in (e.g., passport, national ID, driving licence).

We will verify the following
details:
• Full name
• Date of birth
• ID expiry date


These details are stored securely and retained for a maximum of 1 year, after which
they are automatically deleted. This temporary retention is solely for legal or
operational purposes (e.g., in the event of a security inquiry or chargeback dispute).

4. Children and Age Restrictions

At Limehouse Library Hotel London, we prioritise the safety and well-being of all our
guests, including minors under the age of 18. To ensure their comfort and security
during their stay:
Guests must be 18 years or older to stay without a parent or legal guardian.
If a minor is staying at the hotel, their age will be recorded at check-in for service
provision purposes.
Minors are only allowed to stay when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
If a minor will be accompanied by an adult who is not their parent or legal guardian,
written parental consent is required. The minor’s parent(s) or legal guardian must
complete the Parental Consent Form available on our website prior to check-in.
Without a completed and verified parental consent form, the hotel reserves the right
to refuse check-in to minors travelling with unauthorised adults.

5. Access to Your Data

Your personal data may be accessed by authorised Limehouse Library Hotel
personnel for service provision, including:
• Front desk and hotel staff
• Reservation and administration team
• IT department
• Medical services (where applicable)
• Legal counsel (if legally required)

Visitors may meet registered guests in designated public areas, including the
restaurant, lounge, and rooftop terrace, but are strictly prohibited from accessing
guest rooms.

charge. If you wish to exercise this right, you should:
•Put your request in writing.
•Provide us with enough information to identify you (e.g., account number,
username, registration details); and
•Specify the information that is incorrect and what it should be replaced with.
You also have the right to ask us to stop processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. If you wish to exercise this right, you should:
•Put your request in writing (an email sent to info@limehouselibrary.com with a header that says ‘Unsubscribe’ is acceptable).

14. CCTV Monitoring

For the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property, CCTV operates in reception, entrances, corridors and public areas of the hotel. CCTV footage is retained for a maximum period of 14 days and is automatically overwritten after this period unless required for the investigation of an incident, crime, or legal matter.

We hold a certificate issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), demonstrating our commitment to data protection compliance.
