Why do I need to provide photo ID when checking in at the hotel?

Guests are required to present valid photo ID (passport, driver’s license, BRP, or ID card) at check-in. This is mandatory under the Immigration Hotel Records Order (1972), which requires British hotels to record the details of all guests aged 16 and over. The ID number will be noted on the registration form as confirmation.

Providing ID ensures:

Safety: Prevents unauthorized access and criminal activity.
Fraud prevention: Protects against identity theft and financial fraud.
Legal compliance: Helps the hotel comply with legal requirements.
Emergency support: Enables better cooperation with emergency services in a crisis.
Guests unable to present valid photo ID may be refused entry.

Do you have a restaurant?

Our in-house restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel serves continental and cooked breakfasts every morning. Should you wish to dine in for lunch or dinner, you’ll be able to tuck into delicious international cuisine prepared by the chefs of the hotel’s culinary arts academy.

What are your breakfast times?

Breakfast is available in our restaurant from 07.00 until 10:30

Is there 24-hour reception?

Yes, our reception is manned 24 hours a day. Please feel free to call us with any issues by dialling 0 on your room phone, at any time of night or day

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check in is from 15.00 and check out is at 12.00

Can I arrange a late check out/ early check in?

We can’t always guarantee a late check out/ early check in, but we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Can I leave my luggage with you?

Yes, we have a secure luggage store, and you can leave luggage with us on the day of your arrival and / or departure.

Do you have smoking rooms?

No, the hotel is strictly non-smoking throughout, and a £150 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who smokes inside the building.

Does the hotel provide free WiFi?

Yes, there is complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel.

Do you accept pets?

No, we don’t accept animals.

Can I order room service?

No, but our restaurant, on the other hand, has a lot to offer.

Can you provide extra beds/ baby cots?

Cots are provided free of charge, and extra beds are available for a fee. If you need one, kindly please inform us at the time of booking since they are subject to availability.

Do you offer a laundry service?

We don’t offer an in-house laundry service for our guests, however we provide the service through our trusted partners.

Is there a spa?

Our spa, which includes a fitness centre, sauna, Turkish bath, and wellness centre is open now!

Is there parking at the hotel?

We do not have any private parking. There are a few pay-by-phone parking bays available around the hotel, There is also a private car park in Westferry Cirsus.

Where is the nearest train station?

Limehouse DLR station is a 10-minute walk from our location. We are also very well connected on the bus network.

How long does the journey take to get to the nearest airport?

Count 14 minutes of journey between the Limehouse Library Hotel and the London City Airport.
