Booking with Limehouse Library Hotel you will be accepting the following terms and conditions:
All guests may be asked to produce photo ID (a valid passport or driver’s license) on check in at the hotel. If you are unable to produce photo ID you may be refused entry to the hotel.
The passport/driver’s license number will be noted on your registration form as confirmation of ID being presented. If you are unable to produce photo ID, you may be refused entry to the hotel.
The Immigration Hotel Records Order (1972) requires all British hotels and similar residential lettings to keep records of all guests over the age of 16.
Safety: Confirming a guest’s identity prevents unauthorized access and potential criminal activity.
Fraud prevention: Verifying a guest’s ID protects against identity theft and financial fraud.
Legal compliance: Many jurisdictions require hotels to keep records of guest identities to combat illegal activities.
Emergency services: In the event of a crisis, hotels can better cooperate with emergency services if they know who is staying at the hotel.
We require immediate notification if you or anyone staying with you or on a reservation you have booked is self-isolating or should be self-isolating in line with Government guidelines. In any circumstances, Limehouse Library Hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservations, before or during your stay, if it is for the purpose of self-isolation.
When making a reservation at our hotel, please ensure that you are complying with national as well as local government guidelines of the destination. This can include but is not limited to restrictions on maximum group sizes, mixing of households and the purpose of your stay.
A credit/debit card is required at the time of booking to pay for the reservation.
Bookings made on a Prepaid rate are charged at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. The payment card must be produced upon check-in at the hotel along with photo ID matching the identity shown on the card.
All taxes are included in the price.
You may be asked for a credit card on check-in to guarantee any charges in addition to your room charge. The card will be authorised but not charged at that time.
A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation.
The credit card will not be debited unless you fail to arrive for the reservation.
You can make the payment at any time, but it must be completed at least 48 hours before your check-in, starting from 15:00 local hotel time.
If you wish to pre-pay or pay by any other means please contact the reservation office.
You may cancel your reservation at any time, but it must be done at least 48 hours before your check-in, starting from 15:00 local hotel time. Cancellations received after this time will be charged for the first night of your stay.
If you fail to arrive and have not cancelled your reservation in the allocated time you will be charged for the first night of your stay.

In the event that no room is available, we will endeavour to find suitable alternative accommodation of an equal or better standard to the Hotel holding the Guest’s guaranteed booking.
Loss of or Damage to Guests’ Property
Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, a hotel proprietor may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff of the hotel.
This liability however-
(a) extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the hotel;
(b) is limited to £50 for any one article and a total of £100 in the case of any one guest, except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody;
(c) does not cover motor-cars or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.
This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to this hotel or that liability there under attaches to the proprietor of this hotel in any particular case.
We want to maintain a safe and secure environment for you and your family and may ask for your identification on arrival. We don’t knowingly allow anyone to use or visit our hotels who is a convicted child sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or subject to a Sexual Risk Order, Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice.
Please be aware of the increase in cybercrime and fraud. If you receive an email that appears to come from Limehouse Library Hotel but which provides different bank details or different or unusual references it is unlikely to be genuine. Please do not reply to that email or act on any information contained in it but contact us immediately to check the account details. We will not accept responsibility if you transfer money into an incorrect account.
