Booking with Limehouse Library Hotel you will be accepting the following terms and conditions:

All guests may be required to present a valid photo ID (passport, driver’s license, BRP, or National Identity card) upon check-in. Failure to provide valid ID may result in being refused entry.
The passport/ID number will be recorded on the registration form for confirmation. This is in line with the Immigration Hotel Records Order (1972), which mandates hotels to keep records of guests aged 16 and above.
ID verification ensures safety by preventing unauthorized access, protects against fraud, supports legal compliance, and aids emergency services in case of a crisis.

The hotel operates on a cashless basis.
 
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parents, a legal guardian or present an official consent form signed by a parent/legal guardian upon check-in.The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation if the required legal guardian or valid consent form is not presented at check-in. In such cases, the guest will not be entitled to a refund, nor will cancellations be permitted.
 
In the event of an obvious or significant error on our part, whether in pricing, availability or booking details, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and issue a full refund of the amount paid.
 
The hotel does not provide parking spaces, and guests or visitors are responsible for arranging and securing their own parking.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) IMPORTANT NOTICE

We require immediate notification if you or anyone staying with you or on a reservation you have booked is self-isolating or should be self-isolating in line with Government guidelines. In any circumstances, Limehouse Library Hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservations, before or during your stay, if it is for the purpose of self-isolation.

When making a reservation at our hotel, please ensure that you are complying with national as well as local government guidelines of the destination. This can include but is not limited to restrictions on maximum group sizes, mixing of households and the purpose of your stay.

Non-refundable bookings

A credit/debit card is required at the time of booking to pay for the reservation.

Bookings made on a Prepaid rate are charged at the time of booking, and are non-refundable. The payment card must be produced upon check-in at the hotel along with photo ID matching the identity shown on the card.

All taxes are included in the price.

You may be asked for a credit card on check-in to guarantee any charges in addition to your room charge. The card will be authorised but not charged at that time.

Pay On Stay – Free Cancellation until 2pm day of arrival bookings

A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation.

The credit card will not be debited unless you fail to arrive for the reservation.

You can make the payment at any time, but it must be completed at least 48 hours before your check-in, starting from 15:00 local hotel time.

If you wish to pre-pay or pay by any other means please contact the reservation office.

You may cancel your reservation at any time, but it must be done at least 48 hours before your check-in, starting from 15:00 local hotel time. Cancellations received after this time will be charged for the first night of your stay.

If you fail to arrive and have not cancelled your reservation in the allocated time you will be charged for the first night of your stay.

Out Bookings

In the event that no room is available, we will endeavour to find suitable alternative accommodation of an equal or better standard to the Hotel holding the Guest’s guaranteed booking.

HOTEL PROPRIETORS ACT 1956

Loss of or Damage to Guests’ Property

Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, a hotel proprietor may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff of the hotel.

This liability however-

(a) extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the hotel;

(b) is limited to £50 for any one article and a total of £100 in the case of any one guest, except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody;

(c) does not cover motor-cars or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.

This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to this hotel or that liability there under attaches to the proprietor of this hotel in any particular case.

Safe & Secure Environment

We want to maintain a safe and secure environment for you and your family and may ask for your identification on arrival. We don’t knowingly allow anyone to use or visit our hotels who is a convicted child sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or subject to a Sexual Risk Order, Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice.

Cybercrime and Fraud

Please be aware of the increase in cybercrime and fraud. If you receive an email that appears to come from Limehouse Library Hotel but which provides different bank details or different or unusual references it is unlikely to be genuine. Please do not reply to that email or act on any information contained in it but contact us immediately to check the account details. We will not accept responsibility if you transfer money into an incorrect account.

By checking the box labeled “I agree to receive marketing communications” you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Acceptance of Terms and Policies: You confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Non-Mandatory Consent: Please note that agreeing to receive marketing communications is not a condition of making a booking with us. You may still proceed with your booking without consenting to marketing communications.
